At Linnet Technology Ltd, we deliver end-to-end installation and upgrade projects for standby power, UPS systems, battery systems, generators and supporting electrical infrastructure. Wherever practical, the work is carried out in-house by our own team. This gives us tighter control over specification, programme, workmanship, testing and handover, while reducing reliance on multiple external parties.
From the initial site survey through to installation, commissioning and ongoing support, we take responsibility for the key technical stages of the project.

Every site has different constraints. Before recommending equipment or installation methods, we assess the building, existing infrastructure, critical load requirements, access routes, ventilation, acoustic limits, fuel arrangements, cable routes, resilience requirements and future expansion plans. This allows us to design a system that fits the site properly, rather than forcing a standard solution into an environment it was not designed for.

Generator installations
Installing a generator is a significant investment and needs careful consideration from the outset. We can supply and install standby diesel generators for indoor, plant room and external applications. Systems can be specified for permanent installation or temporary rental, depending on the site requirement.
Our work takes into account the practical and compliance issues that often determine whether a generator installation will perform reliably in service, including:

UPS, battery and critical power infrastructure
Critical power installations need to be designed around the load they are protecting, the available supply, the required runtime and the operational risk if power is lost.
We can install and upgrade UPS systems, battery systems, switchgear, bypass arrangements, distribution boards and associated electrical infrastructure. This includes integration with standby generation where longer runtime or full-site resilience is required.
Our approach considers the full power path, from incoming supply and changeover arrangements through to UPS output, battery autonomy, downstream distribution and final critical loads. The objective is to create a resilient, maintainable system that can be safely tested, serviced and expanded where required.
Built around resilience
For critical environments, resilience has to be designed into the installation from the start.
UPS systems, batteries, standby generators, fuel systems, cooling, controls and distribution equipment all need to work together. The UPS must support the immediate transfer when the mains supply fails. The generator must start, accept load and remain stable. Batteries must provide the required autonomy. Changeover systems must operate correctly. Maintenance access must be practical and safe.
We consider these dependencies during the design and installation process, so the finished system is not only installed correctly, but capable of supporting the site when it is needed most.
Installation, testing and handover
Once installed, systems are tested, commissioned and documented before handover. This can include functional testing, load bank testing, battery autonomy checks, generator run testing, changeover testing, fault simulation and inspection of critical connections and controls.
We also provide ongoing maintenance and support after installation, helping clients keep their critical power systems operational, compliant and ready for use.
The result is a properly engineered critical power installation, delivered with as much work as possible controlled in-house, and supported by a team that understands the full standby power environment.
