Founded originally in 1989 in Stirling, Scotland, Linnet Technology’s success has enabled national operational expansion. We now have staff strategically placed UK-wide allowing us to cover from Shetland to Lands’ End and offer your organisation a service unmatched by other UPS resellers.

For over 30 years we have specialised in the supply, design, installation, and maintenance of the leading uninterruptible power supply systems on the market. However, in order to provide continual power to our clients our services also include Central Battery systems for emergency lighting, smart self-contained LED emergency lighting, chargers systems, generators and batteries. Our consultative, bespoke approach is what makes us stand out from other providers. Three decades of experience; working in both the private and public sector enables us to offer a turnkey solution. Our work in a diverse array of organisations such as the Emergency Services; Police, Ambulance and Fire and Banks, Councils, Highway and Water Boards, ensures we are best placed to provide the right product and service for any industry. We consistently review the market to ensure that we offer the latest technologies and most efficient products as well as offering independent advice to meet our clients exacting expectations, we never compromise on service, and can adapt any solution to suit you.

Our team

Our head office in Stirling is headed up by Managing Director, Paul McAtee who joined the business in 2018, with an established background in UPS engineering and management expertise. Paul has continually introduced innovative technologies which have been critical to the company’s continued success in recent unprecedented times. Alongside Paul, our senior management team consists of Operations Director Keri Kilgannon who has graduate degrees in both Business Management and Human Resource Management and has utilised this knowledge since joining the Linnet team and Technical Director David Smith. David has 20+ years’ experience in Electrical Engineering and has progressed through the ranks of Linnet Technology. The Stirling office oversees and supports all business operations UK-wide.

Our Helpdesk team located within our head office are pivotal to our operations and are responsible for all sales, service, and coordination of works. Thus, ensuring that our customers have one main point of contact for a range of requirements. In the field we have a dedicated team of engineers working UK-wide and aiming to respond to faults where possible within a 4-hour time-period.
