The majority of UPS systems have the facility to provide remote monitoring. This would be beneficial where the UPS system is located outwith a working area. There are several solutions available i.e. remote panel situated within a working area, monitoring from the manufacturer’s support centre, or a message alert system which reports any faults via SMS text or email.
