Maintenance and
Servicing
UPS equipment needs to be serviced regularly to make sure it is in
optimum working condition. At Linnet Technology we endeavour to provide
maintenance contracts which meet with the needs of our clients, with
the added reassurance that our specialist engineer’s are available
when needed. Typical service plans include environmental checks, UPS
functional testing, battery assessment, electro-mechanical checks,
and remote monitoring.
Rental
From time to time your organisation may need a UPS system in place
to facilitate a short-term project, or your current system may have
failed. You may need a UPS product installed at short notice; you
can rent a UPS system, whatever the reason we can assist. We guarantee
your rented product will be supported and engineered to the same standard
as a permanent system, without any compromise on quality.
Consultancy and Design
At Linnet we specialise in bespoke solutions tailored to your organisational
requirements as well as offering off the shelf products. We can offer
an initial in-depth consultation to assess which UPS solution would
best suit your requirements.
Generators
At Linnet we can offer you the highest quality generators, purpose
built for the harshest environments.
Upon an initial briefing, we can supply standby diesel or bespoke solutions of the highest quality.
Also, to ensure that the generators perform efficiently, we offer a portfolio of maintenance contracts to suit your requirements.
Batteries
Linnet technology work in partnership with the major manufacturer’s
i.e. Enersys, Yuasa, C & D Technology, Power Batteries and many others
to enable us to supply the batteries to suit your application. Batteries
can be provided on a supply only basis as well as installed and tested
by our Linnet engineer’s. We can also remove your old batteries safely
meeting waste disposal legislation.
Impedance Testing
Financial consequences of battery failure can be extremely expensive, and run into many thousands of pounds, making the relatively inexpensive
annual impedance testing by Linnet Technology Ltd a very worthwhile
investment.
Battery impedance testing is a well established method of detecting failing cells, or monoblocs, which form part of standby battery strings. New cells of a particular AH rating have a consistent internal resistance value. Virtually all failure mechanisms result in increased impedance, including internal corrosion, faulty inter-cell welds, drying out and sulphation increases in impedance indicate cell deterioration far sooner than other methods, allowing prediction of future battery life.

We have a full range of chargers and switch trippers, all of which
utilize the latest switch mode and Thyristor Technology.
