Stirling man Gregor goes extra mile for Strathcarron Hospice

Stirling's Gregor Bryans is going to great lengths to raise cash for charity - by swimming hundreds of them for Strathcarron Hospice

Gregor will be taking to the pool at The Peak leisure centre in Stirling next month where he will swim 200 lengths - a distance of three miles - for the good cause.

Having always been a keen swimmer, Gregor decided to put this to good use by setting a date for a sponsored swim and immediately began putting in some serious training, completing up to 400 lengths a week in preparation. Gregor completed the swim successfully on Ocotober 18th 2009 raising £3562 in total.

Gregor would like to thank everyone who sponsored him, the generosity was huge.
