The Intellectual Property Office (IPO) can help you get the right type of protection for your creation or invention.
Intellectual Property is created when an idea takes some tangible form. Intellectual Property can mean a brand, invention, design or other kind of creation and it can be legally owned. But how can the Intellectual Property Office ensure they have a power contingency plan to protect their clients?
The Intellectual Property Office needed a sophisticated power continuity plan and Linnet Technology Ltd designed and delivered the perfect solution with a centralised critical power solution for their headquarters in Newport, South Wales.
The project comprised of 3, 100kVA UPS in a N+1 parallel configuration and associated electrical switchgear to support all essential services to continue functioning through periods of power failure within their computer and server room environment.
In terms of resilience, the power continuity plan needed to use multiple power paths to ensure supply continuity. The system Linnet Technology Ltd delivered, needed to have the ability of providing power protection systems to clear any fault conditions whilst also achieving the lowest possible number of single points of failure.
