Linnet Technology completes major Data Centre installation

Linnet Technology Limited has successfully installed a total 80KVA Standby Power for one of the world's leading HR consulting and outsourcing companies.

The company has been established for nearly 70 years, largely due to the innovative solutions that they provide for the unique needs of their clients. Today, the company have more than 23,000 employees serving clients in more than 30 countries with a clear focus on delivering excellent customer service and measurable business results.

Linnet Technology Limited was responsible for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the power protection system in one of their key disaster recovery centres. Linnet Technology Ltd took total responsibility for planning and project managing all delivery, installation and commissioning activities. This was a complex task because of the power demanded by the systems in this multi-tenanted building. The challenge was not made any easier with the demanding timescales that had to be met.

Commenting on the project, Janice Bannister from Linnet Technology Limited said: “ I believe our experience of similar projects has proven invaluable. Our approach was to assemble a team of experienced, high quality personnel. Working to our strengths, meant that although there were constraints in terms of working hours, noise, other contractors and the consideration of other tenants, Linnet Technology Ltd were still able to deliver and install 80kva power protection solution on time. In fact all the systems were fully working and operational within a week of the initial enquiry – a fantastic achievement by the team.”
