Our diverse background enables us to offer a portfolio of expertise in many core industries in both the public and private sectors. Our team of specialist consultants, engineers, and service staff are all highly knowledgeable and have a wealth of experience within the power protection industry.

Every office has a team of qualified electricians who Linnet Technology have since trained to become UPS Engineers. They have a wealth of experience through their varied backgrounds – many from the contracting industry, through to electrical maintenance.


Our head office in Stirling services the Scottish region and is headed up by Managing Director Jean Laughlin.

Jean has been with the company since 1993 and had the opportunity to buy it in 2005. Between 2005 and the current day she has successfully guided Linnet through a tough recession – ensuring staff remained in employment and keeping company growth buoyant. Her forward thinking enabled Linnet to work in partnership with Auriga Energy to develop the new AurigaGen Hydrogen Fuelled Back Up System.

The Technical Director for Linnet Technology is Jim Laughlin who is based in Stirling. Jim joined Linnet back in 1999. Jim’s role in Linnet is to offer Technical support for existing Clients as well as our own engineering staff. Jim currently manages all project work, from the full refurbishment of the Sabio Ltd office, to the development of the AurigaGen Hydrogen Fuel Cell Back Up System.

Alison Hotchkiss is the Scottish Divisional Manager. Alison has been with Linnet since 2006 and prior to this, spent 25 years in the public sector. Her work at Stirling Council has provided her with a wealth of contacts and expertise in local government and public bodies. Alison’s ambition is to take Linnet Technology global!

Diane Peebles is the company’s Accounts Manager. Diane joined Linnet back in 2001 as a Service Coordinator, but was promoted in 2002 to her current position.

Suzanne Sharp is the newest member of our team having only joined us in January 2014 as our Scottish Sales and Service Co-ordinator. Suzanne came from an administrative role with Belhaven where she worked closely with local authorities and utilities companies and co-ordinated promotions, events and travel.


The north of England is served by our office in Leeds. This office supplies organizations in the key northern cities such as Liverpool, Manchester and Sheffield.

Jessica Holmes is the Northern England Divisional Manager who joined the organization in June 2012 direct from College where she studied Business Development & ICT. Jessica was promoted from Service Coordinator to her current position in May 2015 and we would like to wish her a big congratulations from the team.


Our Andover office covers the south of England, from Birmingham to the Westcountry.

Claire Quigley joined Linnet Technology 8 years ago and is now the Southern Regional Manager. Born locally in Andover, she is aware of the specific needs of her customers and suppliers, building up a great working knowledge and understanding of the area. Prior to working for Linnet, she gained valuable experience dealing with customers in the industrial market in particular the steel manufacturing industry. When the opportunity arose, she joined Linnet and now runs the Southern Office. She supports UPS manufacturers and service partners, while also liaising with subcontractors when necessary.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
